For 30+ yrs Award Winning Photographer Sean Dowie has photographed Florida’s well-known and not so well known places, occasionally slipping away to some nearby Islands. Originally from the midwest in his early years Sean moved to South Florida and the Keys. From that time on Sean developed his need for Nature and saw the inherent beauty & purpose within it. While attending the Art Institute to refine his photographic abilities Sean became intrigued with large format photography.

   In his own words;

“The detailed textures, the subtle changes of light from scene to scene that one can reveal on Large Format has enabled me to show the Florida landscape in all its glory.”

  Sean works has been viewed in a variety of publications. His credits include Natures Best, Travel & Leisure, Audubon, Coastal Living, Travel Florida highways, Florida Living and Outdoor Photographer, to name but a few. Sean’s work is exhibited in hospitals, galleries, museums, government building, corporate and private collections across the country.  Sean works with many designers in Art in Healthcare and has found it very rewarding giving those in hospitals recovering from life challenges a calm & healing visual. You will find Sean Dowie images in hospitals through out the United States. Sean also donates time to organizations protecting Florida's unspoiled places.
